Ever heard, “You’re not my real mom!” from your angry stepkid? Maybe had a date night interrupted by never-ending, negative texts from your partner’s ex? Held in your frustration about your partner’s parenting decisions? You’re doing everything you know how to do, but you’re constantly overwhelmed.

Worst of all, no one in your life seems to understand.

What if you had someone to confide in about your worries and challenges? What if you had a bestie who encouraged you and celebrated your successes? What if you could meet another stepmom like you who just gets it?

Hi! 👋 I’m Sarah. Like you, I’m a stepmom who has struggled with blending my family. Seven years ago, I met my stepkids for the very first time. I had so much momentum! I jumped in headfirst, ready to plan vacations, coordinate family photos, and volunteer for extracurriculars. I was positive my stepkids and their mom would like me as much as my partner did.

I was completely blindsided by the reality of blended family life. My fantasies were quickly replaced by parenting time calendars, challenging behaviors, and eventually, a high-conflict custody case. I had to admit, I had no idea what I was in for, and I didn’t have many people in my life who really understood.

Enter stepmom coaching. I was lucky enough to find a great coach who joined me and a small group of other stepmoms who wanted to change their mindsets about their blended families. Whether you’re just starting to date someone with kids or you’ve been a married stepparent as long as you can remember, we’ve all gotten stuck on a step in our journey. Coaching is a place for you to vent, explore new ideas, and receive support along the way.

I was inspired by the support and friendship I found within my coaching group. When the opportunity came along to pursue my own coaching certification, I knew I wanted to help other women find their own momentum again. Blended family life can be overwhelming. Coaching will help you take care of yourself, improve your relationships, and build confidence in your role as a stepmom. Let’s chat today!
